I think there has only been 1 indictment since the act was passed in 1799. It was in like 1803. Do your own research.

Bottom line, I think there's a huge difference between a hypothetical poker game I might host and these meetings. Logan act or no logan act, it's pretty shady. I agree with the poster who stated that anyone who doesn't think big business and the world powers, esp. centralized banks, are, by and large, corrupt institutions is a big moron.
