People were in to Netflix and crap. Live television events, across the board, had record lows. I think it had a lot to do with how sports and award shows looked on television. The crowds make a difference, even aesthetically.

Cubbies announced today that Wicks will be in the rotation to start the season. Setting aside his trial run last fall, I "think" he'll be the first KSU pitcher to start MLB games since Carlos Torres 10ish years ago.

CHONGS I have been putting off mentally preparing for Thursday. I mean sure we all know that the Mets are going to be livin large and steppin easy on May 1st but do we have any reason to be optimistic beyond that?

I'll have fun watching the Francisco boys. I think we have a decent chance of sneaking into the playoffs, but starting pitching might be our downfall. We don't have a true number one, and that was before Senga got delayed.

J. D. will help take stress off the black hole known as the Mets DH. But that's only if he stays healthy.

3rd base is going to be trouble, but the rest of the defense should be fine.

If Marte can get back to form then this team might even be dangerous on offense.

Marte being healthy enough to steal bases was such a difference maker, it was like watching an entirely different team.

The more I think about it, I think I will be fully in it to win it the first time they sound the trumpets
