The actual game though, what a sloppy mess. It was exciting sure but my word, the base running mistakes, horrible defense by Chicago, just seemed like the teams were so juiced up they couldn't play clean.

yep the cubs were definitely hateable winners last year, that's for sure.

2015 mlb baseball in a nutshell: the cubs were winners and everyone hated them.

I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate Chris Sale. I was so happy when it was reported last week that we were out of the sweepstakes. He is a crybaby, a cancer, 100% me guy. About every three years or so the Sox sign one of these douchy guys who I abhore; Schilling, Wells, Lackey, Gomes, and this douche falls right into pattern. It really makes it hard to fully enjoy my team.

No one cared about Schilling's political views in 2004. Back then he was a great pitcher, like Sale, but he had the reputation of being a divisive figure in the clubhouse, like Sale, because of his big ass mouth. Wells was an out of shape shameless self promoter that burned every single bridge placed in front of him.

I totally get MIR's point on Sale, the guy is an idiot. But he also has been the best pitcher in the American League the past 4 years. I'd take his stupid attitude in a heartbeat.
