I'm watching the nats v cubs game as foreplay for the royals tonight.  Max is unhittable.

You are the tuckiest baseball fan in America. The only people offended by the OBSERVATION that Ichiro has the most professional hits in the history of the sport are:
1. Cf3
2. Pete Rose
3. Jap hating greatest generationr's

Are we certain that is true? If you are going to count Japan you need to count the American minor leagues, Cuban leagues etc.

There are more leagues than Japan and MLB so its hard to know. FTR Ichiro is one of my all time favorite players to watch, I just wouldn't call him the hit king.

I like Pete Rose's response that if they count j-hits, his minor league hits should be counted

There is no way anyone could possibly think that Ichiro wouldn't have more hits than Pete Rose if he played his entire career here. Ichiro is absolutely a better hitter but why does Pete give a crap, they aren't taking his name out of the record book, even though he used a corked bat.

It hadn't been done 3 straight games in 122 years. Now Shields has done it 4 straight.

The train wreck that is now the WhiteSox are just 5-17 vs the Central in the last 30 days.   Not happy how Cleve is just owning them like we are too.

Clev is now 9-0 vs Det this year, out scoring them 60-20. At least Minn has won 4 of 6 vs Clev because the Indians are now 24-10 vs Central.  KC is 21-11

Minn is 1-18 vs anyone but Clev.

Det is 2-14 vs Cleve/KC and 10-2 vs other 2 teams

I get that MadBum is a very good hitter for a pitcher, but choosing to let a guy batting .175 avg and .650 ops take your DH spot is stupid and arrogant.

He's being a bad teammate. I'm sure there is a position player that would love those 4 AB's instead of sitting on the bench.

Yeah, me too. Pitchers being good hitters in the mlb is cool to me. They've gotta perfect their craft, so there's little time for it, so when they can hit too, i'm mesmerized by it.

That shitty bench player hasn't accounted for the amount of wins that bum has attributed to. He can sit his ass on the bench and let bum do what bum wants to do.

Wow look at you dorks with the egg on your faces. Also, the last two years he hit .250 and would have been on pace for about 35 HRs had he hit as much as a regular everyday player
:adios:
