Yea and it's not because of the manufactured intrigue of home field advantage. It's because the players take pride in playing and want to be there.

Baseball's stud/ boss proclivity for mano y mano confrontations (diving catch on a line drive, HR, Strikeout, stealing, getting thrown out) also helps make it great.

I'd have put Jeter's chance at MVP at 75% before the game even started. The fact he did anything at all to contribute to the game puts it at about 90%

Meh. I've always been American League heavy. Even tho I was at the first Rockies game, EVER!
