counties in KS and how to spell them

I took a geography/history of Kansas class in college and I loved learning the counties. Great for some trivia along I-70 West.

I had to memorize them and their spellings in 7th grade. good use of roughly a full years worth of georgraphy class. meanwhile, I have no idea where most of the African, Asian or South American countries are on a map.

Yeah and you don't even live in Kansas anymore so you can't drop any license plate knowledge. What a shame...
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Are you serial? The Oxford Comma is very important.  Without it, you might end up writing something like, "I'd like to thank my parents, John Currie and oscar Weber."

The Oxford Comma is quite possibly the only thing holding society together at this point.

I don't understand why it has a special name. It should just be called proper comma use.

It is also known as the Harvard Comma.  The official term, though, is serial comma (hence my joke, above).

I got really good at cheating. Like when there was 3 different colored exams, I had a really good eye and I could see answers to rows in front of me.  :gocho: Probably why i'm so dumb.

I was taught in school that there are 7 continents when there are clearly only 6.

Having never taken a proper English or writing class, I do not know what this is.

However, the most useless thing I learned in college were matrices...I know I did them in some pud math class as a FR, but what were they, I have no memory of why or how to use them, I clearly haven't encountered them during my adult life or career...can someone give a cliff notes version? I know they are like a tick-tack-toe box with numbers, but that's it.  Side note, I didn't get it then-calc made more sense...

Are you serial? The Oxford Comma is very important.  Without it, you might end up writing something like, "I'd like to thank my parents, John Currie and oscar Weber."

Restructure the sentence like this: "I'd like to thank John Currie, oscar Weber and my parents."
