I feel like work will be less attended on these two days then during March Madness by a fair margin.

I feel like that would be true even if Obama outlawed American Football tomorrow...

I think that would be the worst thing any president could do ever. The economic impact alone. . .their would be blackmarket games held in back alleys. . .it would be a dangerous scene.

Not entirely sure how I feel about 6 games in two days, what do you guys think?

I think you are really young, and it has been a long time since we had real morning til night new years games.

Two questions. . 1) when was the last time we had real morning til night new years games 2) what is your definition of really young? -sincere inquiry :sincere:

Good question, bowl alliance I think so about 1997 although I can't remember it happening since I was pretty young. The morning would start with the Citrus Bowl, then the Cotton, and the Rose, Sugar, Orange, and Fiesta would all be at night; two games on NBC, two on ABC.  I am very old so for my really young is anyone under 50.

Wasn't the Cotton on at 10 or 11am for the longest time?

I think they moved it to that time about 10 or 15 years ago and it stayed that way until they moved to Cowboys Stadium. I know the 2000 game was in the morning but the 1996 game was in the afternoon.

nothin makes a bowl seem super elite and lux than changing its name to
 ATLANTA

It is not officially the Atlanta Bowl. It was the Chick-Fil-A Bowl last year, but speculation is that they will be forced to change the name back to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl of old. It is currently listed as the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on the bowl's official website. The College Football Playoff has been using Chick-Fil-A and Atlanta interchangeably.
