How many opportunities did he have to do so?  They ran him 30 times in baylor and OSU, threw a perfect pass to lockett against Mich, threaded the needle against the wind vs WVU(something jake consistently failed to do.)  Jake missed 2+ easy TDs to lockett against OU on deep balls.

By the end of the day we're talking about 2 QB starting caliber players in the Big 12. We didn't have this "problem" 5 years ago and I'm happy we have it now.

Well if you read the article, Sams asked for the change, but Snyder wanted him to stay at QB. Sams wants to help out in some way and told coach he needed the change. So there goes that theory that the coaches hate him.

What do you mean "missed"?  Go watch OU, consistently missed curls high(which is where you don't want to miss) and missed 2 deep balls.

I agree with fanning's interpretation of Coach's comments. Although LHCBS acknowledges Sams needs to be on the field, his comments clearly suggest that he has his reservations about Sams playing WR. But he's giving him the chance.

The same OU game he threw for 350 yards? Averaging 12 yards an attempt.
