Anyone watching the 1st Spring Presser on K-StateHDTV?

Jake Waters doesn't deserve this fan base. Good grief, ppl. I get it, sams is more fun to watch, but get a rough ridin' grip. Waters progression was really nice last season. You guys continue to look at Jake's faults, but ignore Sams late game mistakes. I trust this coaching staff a lot more than some butthurt hayseeds that wants to watch sams run.

I usually look for the positives in everything and with Dsams at WR I believe the positive will be that we will run those super awesome jail break screens where Dsams can score TD's all the time.

It is fun to think about that, just like it has been fun to think about running those screens to Lockett.

Please don't negative my positive.

I "hope" the reason we didn't run those with Lockett was because he was usually the only one fast enough to stretch the defense deep, and we needed him for more deep routes.

And, hopefully, Sams size allows us to feel more comfortable tossing to him in screen situations and getting YAC.

So, positive vibes, 'zacker.

Pan, I realized the reason for TBL usage (or lack thereof), it was just that I wanted to stay positive (cause that's what I do) and I would have found it to be negative to call him a rough ridin' dumbass for suggesting that TBL should be used like Quincy Morgan.

Jake Waters' 81 adjusted QBR in November and December was better than every Big 12 quarterback except Oklahoma State's Clint Chelf and Texas Tech's Davis Webb.

That includes more than just the Michigan game....

so we're supposed to be impressed that waters had a worse QBR than clint rough ridin' chelf and a true freshman QB?  i mean wtf is this post?

NDSU/Texas = beginning of the year. You might want to recheck that OU game.

The OU game where 2 of his 3 TDs to lockett were completely made by lockett and would have been an absolute disgrace if he missed them?  He was also absolutely awful against KU.

Yes. He was the one throwing all the bombs to TLBL to keep us in the race.

TLBL was getting 10 yards ahead of his defender before he threw them.  Also, the three and outs kept us out of it.

Also, I can find reasons for Sams as well, but the team #life crew are so blinded, they disregard Waters highlights and ignore some of Sams flaws. I think that's the most annoying part about breaking down the two. It's a cult like following.

Well if you read the article, Sams asked for the change, but Snyder wanted him to stay at QB. Sams wants to help out in some way and told coach he needed the change. So there goes that theory that the coaches hate him.
