i know it's chick television and i get crap for loving it. but my goodness downton is fantastic.

queue up sherlock next. it's really great. much better than the movies.

Saw a marathon of HBO's Girls this weekend and liked the eff out of it. Pretty damn funny at times. Big fan of the boyfriend Adam. Also, I love Veep. Routinely LOL while viewing. Great dialogue.

Supernatural. The story arc of the first 5 seasons is fantastic. I watched the entire series in an embarrassingly short time period.

I watched 100 episodes of How I Met Your Mother in less than a month. Not proud. Decent show though.

My daughter did the same thing. My 9 year old son has just started watching Lost and it's grabbed his little balls. It's funny watching it now, seeing all the "imagery" and tie-ins that didn't happen until a few seasons later.

haven't watched newsroom yet, will prob at some point. but who knows?

Watched the first epi of Newsroom last night. If the first scene does not hook you completely, I'm not sure what will. The rest of the 'sode is ok. Sam Waterston's character had me absolutely rolling though. That was a surprise.

The ending of that episode is when I realized it was unlike any other show on TV.

I like that it shows him having a hard time killing d00d in basement but think that it is unrealistic to the point that by the second time I had to clean out that bucket, I would be in full on F it, let's do this mode.

it's such a fantastic show. even considering the ridiculous 2nd season and the absurd comebacks.. i love it.
