Can someone point me toward a show with a similar style to "Friday Night Lights?" Not the subject matter (football) but the feel of the show via the acting, writing, etc.

It's hard to find a show like FNL because in no other show will you fall in love with every single character like you do FNL. Maybe Scrubs, but that's an entirely different genre and subject matter.

OMG, so true! Maybe the greatest show ever. Only thing I didn't like was how it seemed like in the beginning Street, Riggins, Lyla and Tyra were all the same age, but then they weren't. I can overlook it though because you just had to keep those characters around.

Yes, HBO. I know you can rent the DVD's, not sure about streaming.

For those wondering about the wire. I started watching a month ago after I got HBOGo and hearing from family/friends it's awesome and I do not regret it and wish I could watch it more often. I'm on season four and I think it just gets better and better (except maybe season 2 which is still very good but not up to par with the others, and it doesn't exactly fit).

Lost I started in college about a few weeks before the final season began and finished them all by episode 2 because it's so addicting.

Dexter's pretty solid.

Soprano's next on my list.

There has never been a show that gets your balls more. I mean, it is an absolutely terrible show now. Fracking terrible, yet I still watch it because I have invested so much time to find out who the mother is. Awful show, just awful, but I still watch.

Yes. I like this show. First season was way better than I expect. It has some very likable characters.

I feel sorry for his kids. I mean, their dad's story is super long, and while entertaining when portrayed by actors in a TV setting probably get pretty boring being told by an aging Ted Mosby. The guy is boring anyway, probably just as boring of a storyteller.

I watched the last 3 episodes of season 1 of breaking bad yesterday and it seems to be growing on me. Will have to watch S2 soon.

Battlestar Galactica. Probly going to get nerd blasted but IDGAF, it was the best tv watching experience in my life. Plus it is all on there. The newer one, not the gay old one of course.
