Why were there only 4 episodes of Bridgerton this season?

Is that show any good?  I just assumed it was girl porn.
that’s exactly what it is.  shonda knows what women like to watch and it’s usually a not so hot woman being pursued by a hot dude.

Just watched the 6 episodes of "Tires". ]   I wasn't expecting a whole lot but I did laugh as much as I have in awhile.  Can't believe there is a show that gets away with what they do in this day and age.  Strong buy!

What did they "get away with" that you couldn't believe?

Why don't you watch a couple of episodes and let me know what YOU think.  He got kicked off SNL for racist remarks though.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Just rewatched Detroiters and it's just as hilarious as always.

I want to try Tires because I love Shane Gillis so much but Pete and CNS not liking it has me concerned. Although I just like him as a person so if he's actually acting then maybe I'm getting my hopes too high!

Throw clams in there as well.  It does start out slow and the manager takes awhile to get used to.  It's definitely not for everyone but I enjoyed the sophomoric humor.

I don't have time to watch it and you said you were surprised so I was curious.

Did you know he hosted SNL this year?

There are two Italian used car dealers that are called "the wops" and a rude worker says she was moved to a different store because she called a customer a mommy.

There you go kRusty, can't believe they got away with it.

Sorry you're so busy that I won't be able to get your opinion on it and I'm glad you value my opinion so much.  Think about some of those 80's or 90's movies that haven't aged well because of whatever cringe factor they brought to the table.  It could be over used racist terms, being overly sexist etc. etc.  This has that.  It surprised me.

 .  I know your life becomes incredibly void when you're not stalking Dax so I'm happy to fill that gap for you bud.  And calling people 'wops' or a mommy is incredibly popular these days eh?  I know you didn't laugh when they used those terms and that makes me appreciate you that much more.  Please don't watch anymore episodes because not only will you not laugh, you'll become disgusted I would imagine.

Yeah it's pretty crazy that the streaming home of Dave Chappelle could find a place for a wildly popular comic with edgy content

'Masters of the Air' was incredibly good. I loved it. I might watch it again soon, which is something I rarely do.

Any other 'Masters of the Air'-heads out there?

Yes, Apple.

Have you read Unbroken? Also a WWII book about bomber pilots becoming POWs, only this takes place in the Pacific. I actually read it as I was watching Masters of the Air and kept confusing the two in my mind.

The production value in the first season is so hilariously bad, but the content even then was phenomenal.

I watched the first episode of Tires and it seems like sometime trying to make something edgy and funny but somehow managed to be better edgy nor funny. At least the acting and production sucks, too.

(FWIW, Gillis was really good when he hosted SNL)

Like, it tried really hard to be edgy but also really didn't want to get anyone cancelled. Edgy enough to appease dumb anti-woke folks but not edgy enough for anyone to like, get themselves fired from Netflix or be funny

Rewatch of The Killing. Season 1 still holds up. 5/7
