It's also on regular ass HBO for those who have it. It will be a mix of commentary and pre produced sketches. HBO only ordered 6 episodes to run until the end of April. He said he'll do some of the stuff he did on his old morning show, The Morning Jones.

The Bomani show was hit & miss. The Duke thing at the end was funny. I didn’t like the commentary because I thought his delivery was awkward. I’ve heard him make that same level of joke on the fly 1,000 times. He doesn’t need a line...punchline set-up. That’s what makes him great. I get he needs a show because he can’t do the Duke museum on the radio/podcast. I’m happy it exists & I’ll still watch every week for the skits, but the commentary is just filler to me. My favorite part was him messing with people, asking them to spell Coach K’s name.

Just finished 1883. It was good but a lot of the girls monologue narration was cringey. I love westerns so I still liked it but it could have been better.

The Tourist was okay. The first few episodes were exciting. The last few not so much. Pretty anticlimactic. I'm desperate for shows right now so it was enjoyable enough.

Impeachment is on Hulu now. If you liked the other two American crime story seasons then you'll enjoy this one. Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp is pretty mind bending, she completely disappears in to the role.

Man, this is exactly how I felt about it. Also he either needs an audience, a sidekick, or a panel. His radio shows and podcasts are always better when he's riffing off someone, he has great chemistry with a lot of people.

I thought the Duke/Coach K segment was hilarious, if a bit corny. But it was supposed to be that way. For those interested:

Gemstones led me to watch Vice Principals and now Eastbound & Down. Vice Principals was great. I finished it last weekend. I'm about four episodes into Eastbound & Down. I think I watched most of the first season 10+ years ago.

It's a ridiculous show (who could have seen that Mr Rakes was take?) with totally unbelievable characters, dialogue, and plot twists, but it's a fun soap opera.

Underrated show: The Peacemaker. No previous knowledge of the character necessary, imo and can just be enjoyed without buying into the DC universe at all. Great comedic dialogue and use of soundtrack.

This popped up in my Hulu, so I started watching. Next thing I know I’m 8 episodes in. I was the same age as the focus kid in 1995. They had a whole episode about him trying to buy Shaq-Fu on Sega. Constance Wu is great as well.

Episodes 6-8ish in the first season bogged me down, but the end of season 1 was good. Season 2 was better. It doesn’t bog down & Judy gets better.

Finally got around to watching Season 1 of this show and WOW what a ball-grasping show! Every single character in the entire show is just so hate-able in every way. Love it! Can't wait for Season 2

Also got around to watching the most recent season of Curb. Maybe the best season yet.
