Finished S1 of Ozark last night. Firm yet gentle and caring grip. That scene at the very end of the season finale though...man I almost turned it off. I was practically crying. IYKYK.

hell yes. Went to stream it on Amazon this weekend and realized they took it off in 2020. Only on Hulu now.

The accent didn't bother me but the entire style of the show is not something I enjoy. I haven't seen anything else by that showrunner but she seems fairly popular. I made it 3 episodes because the story is interesting but had to quit.

The newspaper story angle is just a way to stretch a movie into a series. It's way too long and, while the story is generally interesting, there doesn't seem to be much actual conflict or a sympathetic figure to root for.

Yeah, I was happy with the season, disappointed with the end of the finale. They really did a great job of getting shots of both iconic Manhattan landmarks and places that aren't as well known.

The first episode of Winning Time was awesome. I can't imagine Jerry West was happy with it though. Jack Kent Cooke had a long legacy of being a racist, sexist bad person, so that portrayal was on the nose.
