WV ep was really really good. I wish Tony and his crew would take on some longer format episodes. I could have watched hours of WV. Surprised he ignored pepperoni rolls though.

i binged s4 of peaky blinders and it was v good, excited for s5. i wasn't crazy about the selection of adrien brody for that role though.

He was distracting but didn't take away much from the season. Wish it was more than 6 epi's at a time.

yeah it's a fun show and he clearly was just having fun with the role. i liked it. you guys think hardy isn't hamming it up with solomons?

maybe, but in "hamming up" alfie, hardy didn't blatantly ripoff of one of the most famous movie characters of all time. hardy took alfie and gave him his own quirks (which are tremendous, btw).

again, i liked brody's performance. i think ~~doing an impression of~~ paying homage to don corleone is fine and maybe a fun little eyewink to the audience. plus the writing of his character was decent and brody's stage presence was good and spooky.

but brody's portrayal of the mafioso boss isn't in the same universe as hardy's alfie solomons. i won't stand for that comparison at all.
