Yes, pretty good. I especially loved Hank Schrader's interpretation of Ben Franklin being a pimp. Did you know the guy who played John Adams was the kid from ET? 

By most accounts, Ben Franklin was a pimp.   

I think they stretched things little bit by claiming that General Gage's wife slept with Joseph Warren.  And that Gage himself killed Warren at Bunker/Breed's Hill.

The series definitely took a few liberties () with a few rumors and portrayed them as fact. That happens in every historical movie based on true events. The Gage/Warren affair is based on speculation, but it seemed necessary for the story. Most historians link Mrs. Gage as the informant so you have to include her somehow.

The biggest stretch to me was the casting of a guy in his early 30s to play Sam Adams, who was in his mid 50s at the time the story took place.

I agree. They should have had Mel Gibson play Adams.

My first speech in speech class at K-State was a "where are they now-Saved by the bell edition" and it got a ton of laughs. Particularly by one of the hottest girls who my eyes came acrossed that year. She liked it so much, that she started talking to me in class and invited me to a party and the rest was history. Save by the bell has done more for me than you know.
