Finished True Detective. It was pretty amazing. Watched band of brothers. It was good, but not as good as the pacific. Started breaking bad last night. Made it an episode and a half before falling asleep. I was really tired from the trip, but I hope it picks up soon.

It's like, my opinion, man! I really enjoyed The Pacific, because I felt like they did a really good job of describing the characters lives before the war. I felt like it had a nice balance. Band of Brothers is pretty much all war from the beginning. They were both good, but I really, really enjoyed The Pacific.

My immediate reaction as well. I didn't really get into The Pacific hardly at all. Band of Brothers, on the other hand, is one of the best things to ever be shown on TV.

I have terrible news... Coach Taylor and the Boys are about to take their final snap (I'm down to the last few episodes of season 5). I have Selden been let down by consensus picks around here. What should I start watching next?

The Fall is really good. Season one is on Netflix and Season two is supposed to be coming out on BBC2 sometime right about now.

The reason I prefer BoB is because by the end of the series you seemingly know a lot about every person in the company like they are your own little family. The Pacific jumped around too much. IMO they should have cut the Basilone medal of honor story completely, would have allowed for more time to develop the stories with the others

I don't know about season 1, but the rest of the show is great.
I started watching at season 2, never went back to season 1. I think I will watch it once the show is over after this season.
