American Horror Story writer Douglas Petrie confirmed the setting of the series' fourth season: a presumably very spooky carnival. (All you fans guessing "Hell Circus" weren't far off!) Petrie was a guest on the podcast Nerdist Writers Panel, moderated by Ben Blacker, which was recorded February 16 and released just a few days ago. Petrie was on the panel with a few other television writers, and he starts talking about the fourth season by saying, "I can't say anything." But when Moira Kirland, a writer on Arrow and Castle, offers that she heard a rumor about the season, Petrie confirms it. How about Bonnie and Carl? Really the only storyline I didn't love this week was Debbie's. It seemed a little over the top and a big jump for her character to make, even for Shameless.

It was a great episode. The Debbie stuff didn't bother me that much because the snake in the car was pretty funny. I agree that it was out of character, though. I'm not sure what to think of the Ian storyline. He's just been so strange ever since he came back home.

It's either that or a side effect of all the drugs people are giving him. I hope they plan on going somewhere with it. Right now it's just kind of weird. I liked when he thought he would be able to just go out and make an online video game, though.

I've been really enjoying Six Feet Under. It raises a lot of questions about death that are fairly original, mostly because of all the different scenarios they go through. It kind of reminds me of Friday Night Lights because the characters are so complex that it makes them real and you find yourself caring a lot for even the ones that don't have many redeeming qualities.

I got part way thru season 2 before I stopped watching.  Everytime I thought about watching the next episode I thought of something else I'd watch/do.  Stopped from apathy.

It just seemed redundant to me.  Dexter is struggling with his sexuality and how it impacts his place in the family/community.  The other guy has a semi-crazy girlfriend with a seriously crazy brother.  The girl is just stupid.  You could tell it was one of their first series.  The "this is cool we can show/talk about these things on TV" factor seemed to get in the way of creativity.
