The Colorado story was bad and almost made me quit. It got way better when they left Colorado and didn't focus on those two as much

we're 3 eps in, and while it's good, it's overhyped from what I've seen so far

I'm 3 episodes into stranger things also. I like it. It's a 80s horror/sci fi mix which I've always enjoyed. Nothing totally mindblowing yet but relatively unique and enjoyable.

Just started Penny Dreadful last night. . .we're intrigued, but not quite sure if we are interested in continuing. Anyone familiar think it is worth continuing on?

The first season was ok, but it gets progressively worse until the third season which they suddenly decided was the last season and played the last 2 episodes on the same night to get it over with.

Episode 3 was pretty good IMO. I love how the writers aren't giving away much yet in the show. I'm tired of other shows these days being so freaking predicable and boring...really excited for the rest of the season!

I thought it was pretty good, as well. I am thinking there are going to be lots of surprises in store the rest of the way. I will be back here to compare notes as the season continues. Enjoy!

Finished Stranger Things. Definitely feel like I just watched the 80iest of 80s horror movies. I liked it a lot but feel like the concept was better than the execution, which always leaves me a bit disappointed.

Would be interested to see what they do for a second season.
