Pork, it's pork. Bacon, sausage, hog hammers, ribs, pork shoulder, pork chops, pickled pig's feet, chitlins, tenderloin. ARE YOU GUYS DUMB?

I think the answer is "yes".

It's like we're BBS'n with a bunch of unamerican pinko-commies.

Poultry.  Chicken is solid and the richness of duck will help to make up for no bacon.  Also: Eggs.  Boom.

Eggs are not meat.

Yea, I thought the wording was for the broader food categories.  Clearly it says meat.  Eggs would definitely be a game changer though

Agreed. I need something to eat with the bacon for breakfast.

All the kinds of fish, molluscs, and crustaceans and some of you would rather live off of a fatty pig?   :nono:

Wow, didn't think about eggs. What if we put them in the poultry category? Would it be worth it to only eat vegan desserts, bread, etc. to be able to have pork or seafood? I say yes.

What? Eggs aren't meat. Neither is milk, but you'll probably say that we can't have it if beef is not allowed.

Most breads don't take eggs...might need to ask an Illini tho

I eat at least a few eggs everyday, so it would be for me. Plus, most protein supplements I use are made from egg and dairy byproducts.

Pork and it's not even close

Seafood is good but pork is ten times more efficient

I'm not sure pork would over take beef, but there are so many delicious pork products out there that it is very close.

probably, but I wouldn't know. it's more of a really easy source of protein for a person with crohn's to digest.

Stevesie trying to pull this thing back on track.  I'll bet he thought running a Snack-Off thread was going to be easy.

As for the eggs, I am having a duck omelet for breakfast.  Never mind, I'll have crepes.  You guys enjoy your bacon and cereal or whatever.

After a medium rare steak the next best thing is a perfectly cooked chicken breast. I'm going with poultry on this one.

I have to go with whatever Gooch chose, since he does all the cooking...But I chose seafood even before I saw what he picked.
