I've found it's easiest if you keep all the big one's at the bottom as a solid line, kinda play it like tetris. (13,957 as best score)

Is the score supposed to correlate to how well you're doing getting to 2048 or nah? I played twice and got a lower score on the one where I felt I was making more progress.

Play in a corner. Your highest number should be in the corner, and your secondary big numbers should be either directly to the right or below your highest number. Example, if you choose the top left corner, the vast majority of your moves should be left or up. If you get "trapped" (can't move left or up) make a move to the right and see if you can QUICKLY gobble up some points. In this situation, be very paranoid. And do everything you can to get your main number back into the corner as soon as possible.

You do NOT want a two to be touching your big number. If it is, turn that sucker into a four ASAP.

pick top right corner. alternate right and up until you cant make any more moves. then move once left and up, then back to the right/up alternating mash mode. repeat. once you get to 512, youre basically on your own but the strategy stays the same just with much less mashing.

I think I simplified it. mash keys till you get to 512. but hey, I guess no one here is worthy of talking strategy because you figured it out and this is your game, king dlew. youre the only one.

Don't know about fired, but ruined productivity for a day. Flappy bird was impossible. This gets pretty easy considering you can just keep hitting the keys for a while to get bigger numbers built up until you actually have to think.
