Our D was pretty good this year...especially with no rim protecter.  Most peeps think Will was not good on D and Shane was undersized and ave at best for a 4 guy.   Our defensive team should be better next yr... and if that means better Def numbers amidst the league...then we have all the makings of a top 20 team.

The real benefit should probably be better rebounding. Shane was not a terribly effective rebounder.

I disagree. There were times when he got posted up and there was nothing he could do to stop their big because of his lack of size. It didn't happen a lot but it did occassionally.

maybe once or twice. There aren't many bigs at this level that you can just throw the ball to and have them score against someone slightly smaller.

This is possible. As is almost anything. Whether they will be the most improved team remains to be seen, but they will likely be better than this season.
