Not gonna lie, I'm pretty jealous of that one. White vinyl, too!

My parents had that one, too. I haven't seen it for about 25 years but if I can find it, is there a minimum bid you would guarantee for fatty auction?

I'd pay $50 minimum for it.

Let me see if I can locate it. Don't get your hopes up too high ERII.
It was probably sold at a garage sale for a quarter.

I have a Sansui FR-D35, a cheap preamp, and some M-Audio Studiophile AV 40's. Pretty simple and cheap, but sounds good enough. I never listen to vinyl on headphones - I'd prefer to listen to digital on headphones because I can move around.

For turntable shopping (if you don't have one), I'd recommend craigslist instead of something new. Just set a price limit and search. Then, look up the model here:

http://www.vinylengine.com

for opinions on the turntable, manuals, setup tips, etc. It really makes it pretty easy.

i have a turntable hooked up to a decent amp and speaker set up, but also have headphones.

Technics SL 1300

to a Denon AV amp (pretty meh, but it has worked well for several years)

to two Klipsch RF-3's

and when I listen on headphones I use a pair of these

Grado 225i

Have been wanting to get a designated stereo set up for a while, but what I have has worked well.
