Taxes
« on: March 11, 2014, 12:58:54 AM »
So I just rounded up all of my tax documents and it took me like an hour to efile all of them. I feel accomplished, but a little cheated at the same time. I hear grumblings from tons of people about how terrible taxes are and blah blah blah. It was literally the easiest, most guided process i've ever encountered with the government.

I'm going to ask some very leading questions to my coworker tomorrow that claims she spent 5 hours trying to work her way through it and gave up and hired a CPA to do it. In my opinion: If you can't figure out the online system, then you probably don't deserve the refund...

Just my :th_twocents:

I really don't understand people that wait and are up against the April 15th deadline every year. It just seems bizarre to me. Why wouldn't you just get them done immediately after you get your information, even if you have somebody do them for you. Mine are pretty simply so I've always done them myself.

I just assume the people who wait until April owe money.
