I always get a refund and I feel stupid but my income varies pretty significantly year-to-year (literally dependent on the weather) so it's hard for me to say how much I'll make and/or how much I should pay in taxes and ugh math is hard

Yeah, I guess property taxes could have been counted as a fourth deduction. I'll leave that up to your discretion, though.

Student loan interest isn't a deduction for a lot of people.  Neither is childcare expenses.

I have the double whammy of both being under the income limit and paying off all my loans already, so I admittedly did not know that.

And over some number the amount you can deduct is reduced.  :curse:  Like from $120k AGI up to $155k or whatever that number is, is stupid sliding scale.   :curse:
