I laughed out loud at the staredown at the end of the episode. Great comedic timing from Vince and Colin.

And lol at thinking Rachel will just waltz into a high roller powerful man hooker party when she's been a part of the highest profile investigation in California history. LOL

Oh yeah and it was an investigation THEY SET UP. I guess they know what they are doing here. Never mind.

Never mind.

I agree that the intro music is badass, rusty.

Yes.  I noticed that and thought perhaps it was significant.  The song comes from Cohen's 2014 album "Popular Problems," and has approximately 1 billion short verses.  The verses they rotate in each week are actual verses from the album version of the song, so unless they wrote the script specifically with the theme song in mind, any relationship between the two is pretty tenuous. The only thing that will change my mind about this is if Riggins is not who he seems to be and also turns out to be the lynch pin in all of this.

will whatever atrocities he committed for the PMC in iraq ever amount to anything more than angst? any possible plot relevance?

Did he have to have gay sex to distract himself from thinking about the atrocities he had committed?

I think he believes the gay sex was the atrocities.

I still think putting him on this "special investigation team" was absolutely ridiculous.

The whole idea of the team is ridiculous. The cherry on top of this whole thing will be when he gets revealed as the killer.

I still don't understand how you guys think he is the killer when he was the one who discovered the body.

As of later tonight, I'll be 3 episodes behind.  I have made some promises in this thread that are going to be hard to keep.

I think it was one (both?) of the kids whose parents were murdered in the jewelry robbery back in 2001.
