Honestly, its almost reached the point where its so bad it has to be an anomoly. I mean, he can't be a 31% FT shooter. Or 26% on 2s. Its ridiculous.
Well, do we have his highschool stats?
The idea of JT is nice. But, seeing as how close most of our Conference road games have been, we simply can't afford to have him on the floor in the last 5-10 mins of the game. Yes, he penetrates, initiates contact, draws fouls. He's a good passer. But, F me, "blowing by" the defender doesn't mean crap when he's not converting 3/4 of his layups and he's missing 7/10 freethrows.
Maybe it's an anomoly, but I can't remember the last time I saw a player hit backboard wide left on a FT. I mean, that's f'n unconscionable. The little cat halftime performers shoot better than that and most of them are 8 years old.
