HE FLIPPED THE BAT?!?!

Time to give the unrelated next batter brain damage, I'm just old school like that.

No, never. Wait until the offender is up again and give him the brain damage. That way it's ethical.

There are a lot less fights in baseball today. Probably why they’re willing to break unwritten rules. The appropriate response is to plunk players more.

I understand I'm in the minority and it's a crusty old opinion. That's why I came to this board. Stop trying to convince me, I'm set it my ways.

you're free to have your opinion, but your assertion that underplaying a celebration is more devastating to the opponent is objectively wrong

Funny that all of the stuff I said earlier, for some reason applies far less to me in baseball than in football or basketball.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Depends on the opponent I reckon.

I used to think throwing 98 mph heaters at the dome of your opponent for an earlier offense was dumb. Now I think it is righteous vengeance.

What better way is there to show your lack of being devastated

I used to work the k-state basketball camps during the summers and one summer mitch came back to appear at one of the sessions.

well, every night after the campers were sent back to their dorms, the current and former players, and others working the camp, would play pick up games for a couple hours in the upper ahearn gyms.

mitch was one of the pick up team captains and as the two captains were picking teams, he looked over and pointed at me and said, in these exact words “i’ll take slim”.

anyway that’s how I got to share the court with a  6 time nba all star and game mvp. he could drain it from anywhere on the court.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

That is a righteous story, slim.

That might be the most badass clams story I've ever read, and there have been a lot of good ones.
