it actually works really well. it's in the basement and they've done trivia every wednesday for like ten years. there can be around 11 teams or so w/ around 3-5ish people on a team. if you can't get a team and want to come solo, we will put you on a team or just make a team of all the solos. it has been ridiculous fun the two years we have done it and this year will be no different.

Is it setup by technology? Are we using TVs and game controllers like at Bwws?

I don't recall Maes having plenty of TVs with good sight lines.

Ya, the teams made up of solos seem to have the most fun, actually.  Tobias was on a doozy with Hemmy, IIRC....that group was a hoot.

No there is an MC, and a people working the crowd.  Each team has small white board to write answers.

jeff is the MC. he is very good, but petes team made it pretty easy on him last year because they got 0 questions right.

no. you get a dry erase board and there will be different categories (kstate football, movies, townie topics, ncaa mascots, etc). there will be a bunch of teams and you go in order w/ each team getting to pick the topic that they want a question from. if your team gets their question correct, you get points. if they don't get the question correct then all of the other teams get to write down their guess on the dry erase board and then hold it up at the same time.  it's easy. just show up and it will make sense within five minutes.
