You all are totes adorbs.  I think the Cats can certainly win, but they will not blow out the Jayhawks if they do.  If a blowout is going to happen, which I don't think it will, it will be in favor of KU.

A blowout (or win by more than 15 pts) is likely not gonna happen.   But sports are just weird sometimes.   Mo Cat already mentioned our 84-68 win 3 years ago.   Very very few could have seen that coming.   Texas used a 37-17 run to build a lead by 20 early 2nd have vs KU.  Texas got the first basket of the game, then saw Kstate beat then down 37-12 over the next 17 minutes.   Both were pretty shocking.    Home court advantage can sometimes just be a very big difference maker.   Even with KU's success in Manhattan, you guys are not immune to it happening over here.

Hey Jayhawks, my ZEAL and a POSSE are coming to get you. Be ready.

they don't have off nights against us. face it, theyre better than us. we win when our team plays well and we have a good crowd. who knows, that may be tonight, but probably not. this is their super bowl, they come to play.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

This is one of the Self's worst teams and the youngest we have played since we have been good at basketball, Kenpom give us a 43% chance of winning. I believe youth can have a large effect on this game, hope is there for taking.  :emawkid:

I would not say they don't have off nights against us (in Manhattan).  2 years ago, they only shot 43% eFG and had 0.95 ppp. 3 years ago, they had a high 26.1 TO% and had 0.99 ppp.     Their defense has been pretty good the past few years over here.   I will agree when we have played good (and mainly talking offense here) Kstate has won the game.  84 pts in both of the wins in 08' and 11'.   We don't have to shoot the ball lights out like we did in those 2 wins, but the .90 and .85 ppp the last 2 years never gave us a shot

Last year was. 98 ppp and 21.7 TO% on defense.

All I'm asking is 1.05 ppp on offense and see what happens. Extremely doable.

ftr, mixed-nutz has picked ksu to beat ku every game since 1985.

give it a rest. every year its "theyre not that good this year... young team..." blah blah blah. guess what? that's how college bball works for good teams. they have young players because the good players don't stay 4 years. especially in the big 12 and even more especially for ku. our team is young as hell too. weve got 3 freshman that play big minutes and crapped their pants last time they played KU.

that's great, kenpom, but we still have a 57% chance of losing. I hope we win because it would all but solidify our tournament dreams, but I don't think we will. just how this works...

last 2 KU wins at home had Beasley/Walker and Pullen/McGruder leading the charge, guys who took over the games and were not afraid of KU. this team is afraid of KU and will lose, most likely.

Said hope and KU typically is the oldest or 2nd oldest team in the confrence because Bill stock piles talent and holds players back. Last time KU was really young was 09 and we were pretty shitty that year (NIT) and we had our monuments that year but we obviously weren't talent enough. Our NCAA tournament teams always battle KU at home.

Pullen was so studly, physically and mentally.
