We'll be on the wrong side of the bubble after losses to Texas, KU and Baylor

I think we win at least 1 of those, but we might need to win 2. :frown:

pretty important stretch.  0-3 and it'd be a tough road in.  2-1 or 3-0 and they're in really great shape.  1-2 would be pretty much status quo.

Baylor is really bad, if we don't go 2-0 then we are definitely NIT

We're beating Texas Saturday. I'm not worried about this at all.

Didn't you say we were going to win in Lawrence? Does that mean we're going to lose by 26 to Texas?

No. I never said that. That would have been a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) thing to say.

Let's just double or nothing on our previous bet. You can mix and match your 6 packs now.  :D

Are we waiting on the spread or just straight up?

We can do straight up. What do you think it will be? I would image 2 or 3 points in favor of Texas.  :dunno:

Should be interesting to see how Vegas sees both teams now that we've been sucking and Texas is on a roll. I can see anywhere from pk to -7. I'd make it -5

I'm sure it has been discussed at nauseum before, but what is better for the team going forward.  An NIT championship or a loss in the second round of the NCAA?

Coaching change would be best.

Losing in one of the play-in games of the NCAA would be better than not making the NCAA and winning the NIT.

Oh man we are about 2 weeks away from being forced to root against other bubble teams. How much fun will that be!  :surprised:

I'm sure it's at least more fun than watching your team play week in and week out knowing damn good and well they're not going to make the cut, let alone be anywhere near any bubble.  :frown:

I have only had one enjoyable experience watching the Cats in the NIT, and that was when a young ksudeuce sat in the bleachers at Bramlage and watched Ski Jones go for 62 points. Still would have rather been in the tourney though. The NIT is for losers, just ask Jake Pullen.
