i saw les mis in dallas when i was 11 or so. my memory of the evening isn't sharp except i recall there were 200 men humming "one day more" in the bathroom at intermission. what a rush.

Oh man wait until WonderMeal gets wind of this thread.

I was in the KSU Theater production of The Music Man as a child. :gocho:

Saw The Producers in Vegas with the ex-cDub's wife. It was amazing, and David Hasslehoff was in it. Then I bumped into him in the lobby of our hotel the next night. Way too much spray tan for The Hoff.

Love 'Guys and Dolls.' Love 'Wicked.' 'Chess' is also very, very good. 'Sound of Music' is also a favorite for sentimental reasons. Yes, I played a lead in high school, and I was in a few shows at K-State. (Not a lead.)

Saw The Book of Mormon recently. Funny.

Saw Avenue Q in Vegas at the Wynn in like 2006. Probably my favorite musical theater experience, and not just because I somehow fell madly in love with the puppeteer who was doing Kate Monster over the course of 2 hours.

We saw the Book of Morman last night and it was hilarious.

Quote from: Gooch
I would see more musicals if they were funny and said "eff" and talked about clitorises.

Ok let’s start with Phantom of the Opera. Way overrated. Music is not great and story is creepy guy tries to get girl to fall in love with him and fails? Sorry. NEXT.
