Will we be ranked higher than KU when we play?

This is what really kills us. Its like we took a nap in the locker room and then somebody came in, dumped water on their faces and told them to run out to the court and "play like champs". Then we look up at the scoreboard, think oh crap, and start to actually play but we are looking up out of a  deep hole  tiger trap  cat trap.

Their guard play is woof and might be turnover prone. Embiid and Ellis tho.

Well that is the best chance #Bruceketball has next week. Beating them from the top of the key and constantly moving the ball. Like you said, guard play is pud for them. Passing the ball to force them away from the lane (which they are really good at defending) is important, and actually taking shots, something we dont do as much as we should

We either get psyched out, they get amped up, or probably some of both. That's just life. eff em. Let's just enjoy watching other, shittier teams do what we can't. We can still have a great season and make a run at 2str8 without beating KU.

I actually think this might make them angrier if we lost to them each time we played but somehow managed to win the conference. Personally would take, banners and billboards > 2 wins.

I've only seen KU in their game today, but they were not scary at all.

So, KU dropped the game today for 2 reasons, they were getting killed in the paint by SDSU's bigs and they could not hit shots from the perimeter.  SDSU has 4 guys getting minutes as big as Gip, hes all we have.  KU is gonna force him into foul trouble early and they are just going to dominate us under the hoop, so it won't mater how their perimeter shooting is going.

yeah that's the problem...I don't see a path to victory for us.  we don't rebound like sdsu does and we won't be able to score inside like sdsu did.  I do think we can defend equally as good.  but the best that does is ugly the game up and keep it low scoring.  prob a 10-12 pt loss which will keep most of the weberites happy.
