Northern Wisconsin and Northern Minnesota are both wonderful places to have a second home....summer time here is as good as it gets in the United States.
Milwaukee and Minneapolis/St. Paul are fantastic cities. Great economies, great standard if living for a fair price, vibrant art and restaurant scenes, sports teams, just great place to live....
Southern rural Wisconsin and Minnesota are frozen wastelands akin to Iowa or the Dakotas. Short spring and fall, long hard winter. No value added.
