Jevon started following me on twitter lately and it makes me sad cause I can't share my frustration of watching him like I want to in 140 characters now. He's a scoring liability and that killed us down the stretch last night.  :frown: Also, I'll beat you guys to it. #fanningbrag #fanningbrag #fanningbrag

I think my favorite is the 2-3 times a game he just launches the ball out of bounds.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

His turnover rate through 6 Big 12 games is absolutely terrible and he doesn't score.

It must be his assist rate that intrigues oscar and staff. :dunno:

I would guess toward the bottom. He doesn't get steals, oboards, or take charges which are all stats that are components of the chart. He also doesn't deflect a lot of balls, he does get on the floor some though and get a few loose balls, which are the other components.

Jevon really makes me pine for the days of Jarrett Hart and Aaron Schwarzendrubber.

Here's the ultimate question; Jevon or Stew?
Stew all day long.  Also, was it Stew that KK had a personal vendetta against?

lol it's worse than i thought.
he has no business getting minutes on any b12 team, let alone starting.  and yet he does.

^this alone might make me more pissed off at oscar than anything else in he's done in his tenure at ksu cats college

Yeah, Nigel was hurt last night but I definitely prefer him if only because he is a threat to make a jump shot

I don't think Thomas' high assist rate is a fluke, he's pretty decent at creating plays. However, at nearly a 1 to 1 ratio he also turns the ball over and many of them are just terrible decisions. And yes, a scoring rate below 10 points per 100 is bad. Its like we have a bad version of Jacy Holloway out there or something.

the problem here folks is that i was making a damn good "eye test" argument for nigel a week or so ago and many drug addicts here said i was on drugs.  which is crazy because now who looks like they're on dope?
jevon and everyone on the WRONG side of the argument, that's who.

of course it's not when he negates his assists with shitty turnovers and no shooting ability

He sees the floor well, better than lot of previous point guards. His turnovers come in flurries, he has a long stretch of being a really good point guard. Not having shooters on the court is going to handicap any point guard.

especially when said point guard is one of the ones that can't shoot

Like, I don't remember a player in KSU history that sucked as much as Jevon that people tried so hard to find positives in, or make him seem better than he is. I mean people were less positive about Bill Walker when he was here.

it's really just mixed nuts who at this point has me convinced that he's one of the team's managers
