Fun fact, I actually attended this game (baby has kept me away most of season). My attendance record is fantastic this year as far as non-losses go.

That was gross, in every way. Connor Hallisey is the worst regular player we've had in the SKC era and he was far and away the best player we had last night. How many times did he pull back runs he had because he was scared to take a player on one-v-one? Last night gave me an appreciation of how much better the good players of the league are than the rank and file and usl players. In that same vane it also showed me how terrible Vancouver is. That was their A team versus SKC'c C or D team and despite the score there didn't appear to be much separating those teams.

I really wish PV and Robb would stfu about how they care about CCL, and value every competition, because this year shows that couldn't be even further from the truth. Just say that the main focus is trying to compete in league play and that you're going to use the other competitions to get playing time for other players. CCL could be a very fun competition if teams would take it seriously, or there was more incentive from MLS or CONCACAF to compete.
