Announcement for NYCFC isn't anything unexpected. Yankee stadium will host the team for the first few years, season tickets go on sale today, 9 youth soccer affiliates signed this last week.

Yeah, I don't care for the name, but it's the same name as the team that was pretty popular and won a lot in the original NSAL. I think I'd rather have a USL-Pro team with what's becoming a strong affiliation with MLS over a new NSAL team.

Toni is starting, you guys!!

Weird that he's playing in the midfield though and not on the wing. He's a very good passer, but I'm not sure how effective having both him and Benny F out there will be. Zusi and Feilhaber together in the midfield has only worked once. Usually too crowded. It's possible Benny will play more box-to-box to give Toni more of a number 10 role tonight. We'll see.
