SJ Earthquakes unveiling their new logo tonight. Apparently there's a live stream. Their new stadium is coming soon. Not sure when it opens exactly. They need an upgrade from Buck Shaw.

Saw that. Front runners for the final 3 are Miami, Atlanta, San Antonio, and Minneapolis according to Ben Jata. Sorry, STL. It's probably between San Antonio and Minneapolis for spot #24.

if its not going to be STL then I want Minneapolis. wouldn't mind San Antonio. Miami and Atlanta along with NYC2 were always 3 of the cities I absolutely did not want, but all 3 are going to get franchises. We will have to cheer for a Chivas relocation outside of Cali to get another Midwest Club if the Twin Cities don't get a club.

Only reason I'm against San Antonio is I don't see any reason to have 3 Texas teams. Especially when Dallas doesn't draw attendance numbers and Houston can't fill their new stadium consistently. Apparently San Antonio has a team already (Scorpions maybe?) that draws 8000 people a game.

EDIT: Looked it up. It is the Scorpions. They're an NASL team (second tier).

Don't like the jerseys, but they will probably look slightly better with a sponsor on there. We're so fortunate to have a good logo/brand.

doesn't do much for me tbh. If you gave me a pencil and asked me to draw it, it would end up looking like a million other logos prolly

If we ever have another kit/uniform debate, I'm going to quit gE.

And I mean, the SKC logo isn't world class, but it's slick and it looks good imo. Not many better in MLS.

I intentionally didn't use the word kit when describing that San Jose thing, thats a rough ridin' jersey, I mean holy hell that looks like an ugly high school top.

I like our crest a lot, the state line thing is really clever. Previous to that crap sunny just posted, I thought the worst crest I have ever seen is Stoke City, so damn lazy and dumb.
