He's now talking about Bradley and singing his praises. TFC is gonna be really fun this season.

3 DPs - Gilberto, Defoe, Bradley. Plus DeRo is back.

Michael Bradley is now coming out! :excited:

It's also impossible to make predictions like that. I (and lots of others) thought DC was going to be pretty good last season. Ended up being one of the worst teams in league history. Of course, injuries didn't help them.

Maurice Edu and MLS in negotiations. Love Edu. He desperately needs a move. Rotting on the Stoke bench.

Oh, I'll bet you do.  Surely, nobody wants to hear the MNT coach dismiss his own nation's pro league.

seems like a good discussion.  does National Team suffer by players playing in MLS?  If so, is it worth sacrificing NT, for good of MLS?  very interestin, IMO

I don't think NT players are hurt by going to the MLS.

He's a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) for being butthurt about USMNT players playing in MLS. Those are my thoughts.

Philadelphia Union traded up for the number 1 allocation order spot. Sounds like they want him. (The league will not be involved with the transfer like they were for Bradley and Dempsey. Therefore it will go through the allocation order similarly to when Feilhaber signed for MLS and was allocated to NE.)

I agree.  in the short term, it may help some of our present players improve marginally.  But, the goal long term is to be a world soccer power.  And, seems to me that we're only gonna start churning out serious talent when we've developed the sport domestically.  for the long term, we need the MLS to improve and having buys like Bradley and Dempsey here improves the League.

In the next 20 years, we're not ever competing with the world powers anyway, so wgaf if guys like Bradley and Zussi play for Roma and get marginally better.

By "competing" I mean being a serious World Cup contender.  IMO, we're so far behind countries like Spain, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, etc. that it will be decades before we're competing.  Easily.
