I told you last week the Kansas Jayhawks would break your hearts in the NCAA Tournament, but many of you wouldn’t listen.
Lots of fans became confrontational, and I’m okay with that. I love to verbally spar.
I don’t think there was a KU fan out there who honestly thought the Jayhawks could lose to a mid-major team like Northern Iowa.
That’s the problem.
This KU team was too full of itself. They lost because they don’t have a whole lot of respect for anyone who is considered a lesser opponent.
In this tournament, you cannot be a snob and turn up your nose to any opponent. The rest of the basketball world doesn’t give a flip that the game was invented at your school.
Jayhawk fans are spoiled and take way too much for granted. It’s no wonder that K-State and Mizzou fans take such joy and delight in your pain and misery.Remember Jayhawkers. It’s only a game. Good luck next year.
