What internal temp are you shooting for?  Any grilled veggies on the side?
Me?  No idea.  I grill it on super duper hot for four minutes a side and then let it rest for about 5 minutes under foil.  No grilled veggies (because they are gross)
No sides at all?  Dude, I would bake a potato at least, maybe some pilaf?
Do you have a Traeger grill?

No, just a big gas grille.  We are just having a cold salad on the side.  Guess I could make some pasta or something on the side  :frown:
Salad would work (no iceberg).  Have plan for the dressing?  I like vinaigrettes myself, but I could def see you dropping down some blue cheese or green goddess tonight.

caesar, le femme dave (< no idea if that's any sort of language) likes it.

Ah, you pick up a good red for tonight as well?  It's a great night for sangria too.

Movie afterwards?

Got half a bottle of chianti leftover from last night (italian meatballs) and will prolly open a malbec tonight.  Then, some relaxing to the sounds of her watching some model show that sucks while I bbs.  It's the american dream boys.

for steak I heat up the gas grill for about 10 minutes on HIGH, turn down to medium-low heat and throw the steaks in there for like 6 or 7 minutes.  Flip once, keep lid closed.  Usually brush them w/ olive oil before hand.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

you don't cook fracking filet on planks.  you cook seafood on planks.   very weird cire, you are just way out of your league here bro.

Planks are awesome for grilling boneless chicken breasts on a gas grill, only thing that I have found that keeps them from become dry as a bone.

Have you tried brining?  I have a couple chicken breasts that are brining right now.  Thinking about getting some more use out of that kick'n chik'n and making spicy chicken sammies.

Had a huge grilling weekend. At one time, I had a side of salmon (with a habanero lime butter sauce), 2 chicken breasts, 2 portabellos, and 2 huge foil bags with potatoes, jalapanoes, and other veggies, all at once. Sooooo delicious. I threw the salmon on top of a salad for lunch today.

side purchased on the way home from work (earmuffs clams as you hate feta):  Cutting up a baguette and making crostini.  Then, cutting a brick of feta into thin slices and layering it on the bottom of a pyrex dish with red pepper flake, garlic and basil on top.  Drizzling it with olive oil and broiling it for 15 minutes.  Then eat it with the crostini.  Very easy and I recommend everyone try it.

asparagus is cheap and in season at the moment.   toss with EVOO and salt and pepper, and grill.   delicious.

i grill asparagus all the time. i love the way it makes my pee smell. i used to like it so much that i'd pee in a cup and keep it in the house just to make the house smell good. anyway, once in the middle of the night (after an evening of grilled aspragus eating) i woke up and hastily grabbed the closest glass and chugged away. i was halfway through before the realized that it was my "asparagus pee" glass. anyway, i finished the rest and then went back to bed. i was utterly shocked in the morning when i had to pee again because my "new pee" didn't smell like "asparagus pee" at all. just regular pee. weird deal.

I had six of them with a total weight of 4.75 pounds, so they were pretty big.  Took me about 30 minutes to brown them because I did it slow, then I ended up braising them about 2 hours and 45 minutes.  I waited until the bones had fallen out/falling out then I pulled them out of the braise.
