Didn't they have a rematch from the season a few years ago? I think they played Washington in the regular season and then lost to them in the bowl game. How unexciting.

I don't think playing K-State would hurt nubby's reputation.

I mean talk about a kick to the nutz. A minor bowl game passed on Nebraska in favor of a team that finished several spots lower in their division.

You have to ask yourself just how irrelevant is Nebraska?

Getting passed over by the BWW bowl and Kstate probably hurts Nebraska's image (and feelings)

Word on the street is Nebraska was selected but found out they had to play KSU and ran away/backed out. Old habits die hard I guess.

Let's review....BWW is a December bowl with lower appeal than a January bowl. Payout is 3,350,000 vs the Gator bowl which is a new years day bowl and pays 3,500,000.

Add in the fact that NU would of had to play DOWN  to ksux level just to keep the game competitive it's a win win for NU.

Meechicken will bend ksux over like a ksu coed in the ville. Enjoy.......losers.
