Quote
But Mississippi coach Andy Kennedy might have been more impressed than anyone. “We knew it was going to be a great environment,” he said. “This is my first time being here and I can’t say enough about the students here and how they get into it. You guys are a little spoiled. We don’t see that very often.”

 :Wha:

Outside of Kentucky and Florida no one in the SEC gives a crap about basketball. It shouldn't be shocking that our student section is better than Auburn or Miss State...

I think you are giving Florida too much credit here - Vandy is prolly the 2nd best crowd in the SEC

Agreed that it can be much much better, but it was less terrible than it has been most of the past two years. On a scale of 1-Doom it was a 7.

There was a point toward the last 2-3 min where the students got decently loud.  It made me sad because we hadn't heard that at all yesterday and it was the level of noise that we used to hear most of the game and no where near as loud as the big moments in recent past.

Andy needs to get out more.

I like both Johnsons.

They don't call you ksu_FENCE for nothing.

I think the small one can be a nice bench guard, like Tay. And the big one can be a nice back up post for Gip.

I've never quote got why sys hates big Johnson.

Probably our best besides the KU game. Not in size, but in zeal.

Can confirm it was fun to be there. I don't remember a game last year where I had as much fun as last night. Prolly the KU game, but we lost so it sucked.
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

This is the hardest we have played since Franks 2nd to last season. I am hoping this is the stamp on the program from Lowery's coaching. At Baylor 2 years would be a close in the amount of intensity.

Ole Miss' #34, right after they went up by 4 with like 2 min left, he ran back to half court, got super low in a defensive stance, and double hand slapped the floor.

It was everything you could want it to be.

On this scale what is the highest number before you reach DOOM! 10 seems too low.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

He doesn't waste energy on tantrums... he just coaches. Players may pass poorly, shoot poorly, or defend poorly, but Weber keeps them focused on the next play.... instead of the last play.

I noticed when they dinged around on Offense and had 5 seconds left and he called timeout.  He looked like he wanted to yell and go off, but he just grabbed his clipboard and set up a play.  I liked it.

Yes. I would let my kid play for him. Cool cat. He wanted to go off and collected himself.

Somewhere in my house is a post-it with certain points of the game that gooch, cats2win and I noted were funny at the time.  When I find that post-it, there will be vines of things that I enjoyed.
