In terms of horrible personal biological experiences, vomiting is second on my list, but passing a kidney stone is about 100x worse.

I think puking is way worse for some people than others. For me, not only is it a physically painful experience, but I'm rough ridin' loud when it happens. I've got no control over it. My wife, on other hand, is a more silent, nonchalant puker (and not in a bulimic sort of way). She was feeling sick a few months ago, got out of bed, went to the bathroom, and then started brushing her teeth. I was like, "why are you brushing your teeth?" and she told me she had just thrown up. Didn't hear a thing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

This weekend while dragging out my deer I almost puked for any of three reasons, or maybe the totality of all three minor reasons.

1)  Had a hair stuck to the back of my tongue
2)  I just put my hands way up inside a deer
3)  I was physically exhausted and empty stomach

Anyway I just dry heaved a bunch.

sometimes, if my crohn's disease is causing me a bad flareup, I won't be able to keep anything down. imagine having the worst flu you've ever had, plus some other unfortunate symptoms, that will never go away.

There's a bad case of Norovirus going around right now. People keep thinking they got food poisoned, but the truth is that the virus is pretty common and easily spread.  Wash your hands like a maniac during the winter. Anytime I get it, I get knocked out for 2 days with the faucet--which IMHO is worse than throwing up.

Anyway I managed a night-of-then twice on Sunday wretch from too much dranky drank. Reminded me of my 21st birthday. I walked back to the bar around halftime of the Chiefs game to retrieve my vehicle. Sat down, started it and got up and out to start dry heaving in front of the whole neighborhood (people picking up their dry cleaning).  Around 4pm I threw up some sort of yellow bile. After that I felt great. Might be due to a new medication I'm on. Getting old and need to stick with beer from now on.  :Ugh:

you so right.
i've been a little better since about 7 last night. Maybe the worst 6 hours of my life. I'm also a pretty big wimp when it comes to this stuff.

Also, i was dropped off yesterday in a store parking lot where my carpool meets.  My stomach decides this is a good time to say "eff you."  Lots of strangers got a good show :frown:

think of it as a workout for your immune system, barf muscles, and esophagus lining PLUS the added benefit of an intermittent fast

I really hate vomiting.  Really, really hate it.  The worst feeling in the world is that 15 seconds or so before you go......

They don't and I don't. Also I realize the fallacy of blaming it on that one thing you ate, but the leftovers from Saturday that I ate for lunch yesterday are a prime suspect IMO

One time a friend got sick after eating at the one restaurant in Plainville.  We were pulled over on the highway and he was puking in the ditch and he also crap himself.  It was pretty cold outside, and fun to watch him deal with that mess with people driving by, faces plastered to the glass.

The old double dragon...its a wicked combination.

Had a bachelor party in cancun a couple years ago and the flight back at 7am was a disaster. On the shuttle ride to the airport one friend started puking in the backseat, we all sang "Wheels on the bus go round and round" really loud so the driver wouldn't hear him.

When the plane took off another friend spent 30 minutes in the bathroom doing the double dragon. The flight attendants were getting kinda antsy until we explained the predicament he was in.
