Did anybody here REALLY expect Tim to pay?

Nobody except for maybe kslimlb3. Tim obviously can't afford to pay the debt, and pursuing it at this point only makes everyone involved look bad. Most jayhawk fans are salt of the earth, hardworking types who just want to watch a winning sports team and sometimes run their mouths a little bit too much. We should be the better people and cut them some slack, imo. TSC.

The inherent challenge, as I see it, is that the good, true and worthy EMAW's would've gladly paid the wager had the unthinkable (and highly unlikely) happened. 

Those foolish enough to wager with people like tim should just cut their losses and let the banning commence.

No. At least kslimb has a foot to stand on. He made a bet and the guy was calling him a poor who would welch on it from the get go.

Make an example out of him. He went far beyond just making a bet so the means of cashing in needs to go beyond what is considered normal.

Yeah, letting Tim place any type of monetary bet in the first place was a mistake. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and move on. We aren't animals, after all (with the exception of our president).
