Henderson, who is not made available to the media, had a quick encounter with some fans in the sparse crowd of 3,088 at Barclays Center in the second half and referee Ted Valentine took him to the bench for a quick meeting with Kennedy.

"Somebody in the crowd said something to him and he responded," Kennedy said. "Ted Valentine, one of the best officials in the business, told him he can't control the fans from saying something but you can't talk to them. That's what happened there."

Not liking oscar is one thing, wanting another player to play well and beat K-State is another.

Once again, this thread demonstrates that some people actually place more importance on people (in the domain of sports, not life/humanity etc.) than they do the university.

Why any K-State fans wishes for defeat because they don't like a coach or a player is beyond me . . . and that's pretty much some are implying here, whether they said it outright or not.

Who said anything about wanting KSU to lose? I sure didn't. I always want my Cats to be victorious. In this situation though, I want a certain player from the opposing team to score a crap ton of points and infuriate the tucks at Bramlage.

I'm pretty sure we all go to sporting events to be entertained. If Henderson goes for 50 and the Cats still win, then that would be a pretty entertaining game. Am I wrong
