This really isn't a spoiler, but the next episodes are (with character centric)

The Package - (Sun&Jin)
Happily Ever After - (Desmond)
Everybody Loves Hugo - (Hugo)
The Last Recruit - (Unknown)
The Canidate - (Unknown)
Across the Sea - Jacob and MIB

so besides the Sun/Jin episode, looks like we might get some good back stories.

I've read that "The Canidate" episode should be amazing. But I also read that about this past episode as well. Can't wait for the Desmond epi.

I thought the Richard epi was great. It provided a lot of info.

Heard an interesting theory today. What if Jacob and the Man in Black are the same person, just different sides of his personality? (Good/Evil)

We've never been told the name of the Man in Black. Last episode, he said something about the devil took his body.

The whole show has been about good/evil.

Don't really know where that takes anything, but sounds interesting.

meh, would be terrible if they did this imo.

Don't see it happening. If you stabbed and killed the good Jacob, wouldn't the bad Jacob die too?

Jacob did tell Richard that the reason Jacob brought people to the island is to prove smokie wrong. Said this after 'splaining that smokie thinks all folks are corruptible, or something to that extent.

Could all be a single person's experiment?

Had a thought about where this could go. It's very reminiscent of Adam and Eve. God and the serpent, Jacob and MIB. Forbidden fruit, joining Flocke. Not sure what to expect beyond that. I really want the Architect to have a conversation with Jack with lots of vis a vi and hergo's.

what's with the kid a few episodes ago telling locke that "you killed him and it's against the rules or whatever" something like that. was smokey/locke not supposed to kill jacob and him kicking him the fire the actual thing that killed him and not ben stabbing him? did jacob have this planned out in advance?

also, why is the jin/whatshername not a good back story? seems like jin is tied in with the dark/bad side and whatshername not.

anybody? don't read conspiracy theorys on the web but these seem like a big deal and haven't been mentioned.

I said this a few episodes back and it seems to be somewhat correct. This must be the connections with the flash sideways. Everyone that is with smokey on the island is not doing well in the flashes. Sun=shot Syeed= watching his bro bang his gf Kate = running from the man

Decent episode, been waiting for Dez. Really have no idea what his connections are going to be.

My bad on Sun. I guess she really isn't with smokey.

One thing that is irritating me is that I always think someone is either a ghost or smokey. I am pretty sure it never is, but when someone is talking 1 on 1 with another, I almost always go, "I wonder if that was smokey". etc. Would be pretty lame if this is happening.

Another kind of "meh" episode, though it's expected as Sun and Jin are just about the most boring characters on the island. the fact that "amazing grace" was being played while the previews for next episode were playing prolly means

for some of the characters. would kind of suck if they brought Des back just to die, loved his character. would rather see sun and jin get smokey'd. curious to see how Des is used. I have always thought he was the link between the island and the Losties.
