First hour should be a review of the shows first 5 seasons. Always handy.

I think they are going to wake up and remember more this time.  So it will be like the first season with a ton of shortcuts and do overs.

so do most of you actually understand the plot so far? I wanted to get into this show, but was told it was too confusing ( this was about mid 2nd season)

If you haven't watched every episode, then start over.  No point in watching this season, you won't "get it."

It's definitely a show you have to pay attention to each week.

the shows ratings dipped in the middle of season two leading many to think that the producers didn't know what they were doing or where it was going.  It's worth spending several days watching to catch up.

IMO.

Actually I missed the first season completely and started during the second season with like 3 epi's to go.  Got hooked and rented Season 1 and 2 to catch up.

Hey, NPR :popsliberalpocketprotector:  had a segment on this morning about this.  Apparently they had a huge pre-screen in Oahu last week with a global "Losties" convention.  You should have been there, man.

But, they did mention a little nugget that I thought you might enjoy..."The Transmission" http://www.hawaiiup.com/lost/  Apparently it's all the rage at LostieCon 2010.

There's gonna be 2 realities. The one on the island after the bomb going off (no idea how almost everyone survives), and an alternate timeline where the plane did not go down.

Are the spoilers showing two alternate timelines in which the survivors are alive?  What I mean is, are they showing flight 815 as if it never crashed….AND…jack and everyone on the island post the explosion?  That would be odd to explain, except that you could say that, much like the hatch "exploding" which sent Desmond's conscious back in time, it never causes a typical explosion because of the energy beneath the hatch.

there was no plane, man, don't you get it??  there was no plane, man.  they just want you to think there was a plane but there was no plane.  if you're thinking about the plane then you're not thinking about the helicopter, man.  you need to focus on the facts bros, there isn't, and never was, a plane.
