I mean, he had his best game of the year. However, we needed more sams. Especially backed up in our own endzone. Coaches and D lost that game. Give Waters a break. His coach is the one making him run dumbass plays.

Bell and McCoy are both better than Waters. Knight is, too.

This is a weird year for QBs because so many teams have played multiple QBs. I narrowed some of these down by guys that have played in at least 6 games and not just in mop up duty.

this has to be the nail in the coffin to your fence position doesn't it? I mean...look at it!

I agree that it's not really Waters' fault we lost because he can't control who Bill plays at QB. He wasn't good enough at moving the chains and controlling possession for us to beat OU, though, and I would prefer to never see him on the field again.

I don't think Waters sucks as much as you guys (I mean, there are some numbers to support that he's not terrible) and I've been for playing both quarterbacks since the middle of the season. That's all.

The Broncos have at least 2 NFL-caliber QBs on the roster. The backup can't possibly suck that bad. Maybe they should both play.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

When I played pee wee football, everyone on the team got to play at least one snap at QB when we humiliated the Bears by 50. It was great. None of us sucked that bad, and that's why we won by 50. Maybe Bill should try that.

Right or wrong, the offense this year was built around playing BOTH QBs. I was very against 2 QBs to start the season, but as the season progressed (and we turned it around and started winning) I came on board playing both. I'm not sold that that's how it should be next year, but this year I am fine with it.

Again, the problem last week was we were too unbalanced with QB play and Sams should have played more, especially in the 1st and 4th quarters. Besides a horrendous defensive performance (regardless of TOP, OU was destroying us up front from the beginning), the offensive gameplan to start the game was terrible. The game should have started with a game plan for Sams running and throwing and eating clock against OU's defense into the wind and NOT allowing OU to run out to a 14-0 lead. Then in the 2nd quarter unleash the passing game plan that we had in place against an OU defense that was clearly unprepared to stop a vertical passing game, and that part of our offense is best suited for Waters. JMHO.

_fan just doesn't like to ever disagree with coaching decisions and is overall very non critical. that's really all it is. if the adv stats agree with what the coaches are doing then he's pro adv stats and if they don't then he's fence.

Maybe, but not really. I think both QBs have quality stats.
