I really hope we go to the holiday bowl in San Diego. My Gf's sister lives there AND the chefs play like 1 day before!

anyway, book rooms now at all of the plausible bowl sites. you can cancel them whenever you need to (in most cases) and prices are going to go way up once the teams are announced. also, be ready to book flights as soon as the announcement is made. see above re. price and availability will be slim after the initial rush. if SW flys to any of the destinations you could probably go ahead and book those now on a fully cancelable fare if that makes sense to you. other carriers won't let you cancel without a big penalty unless you have elite status.

Buffalo Wild Wings - Tempe 12/28

Pinstripe - NYC - 12/28

I want the Alamo so bad. Would also take the Holiday but wouldn't fly my golf clubs with me  . So the order of my favorites are:
1) Alamo
2) BWW
3) Holiday

I agree with SD.  Go ahead and book the flights(on SW assuming you are from KC) to SD and PHX now since they will be the ones that go up the most as we get closer.  Hotel rooms probably wont be too big of an issue to either SA or PHX unless you have specific places you want to stay, can probably wait a week or two.

On tickets, I would either ask the highest ranked donor you know to put you on their order, put your own order in, or wait until the day before the game and scalp.  With only 2 of you, unless you have certain people you want to sit by, you should be able to snag some for a good price.
